Tewksbury Cultural Council Awarded $13,800 State Grant

The money will go to the library's 3rd Annual Summer Concert Series, a Public Health Museum exhibit and more.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Cultural Council has been awarded a $13,800 state grant, state Rep. Dave Robertson said.

Grants are available to all Massachusetts communities to fund accessible local programming.

Tewksbury’s awards include the library’s 3rd Annual Summer Concert Series, the Public Health Museum exhibit on Revisiting Public Health in Massachusetts, and a puppet show at the Tewksbury Library.

“With Massachusetts just about fully open, people are excited for these local events again that really add a feeling of home to our towns," Robertson said. "People like Wilmington Cultural Council Chair [Jean] Chang and Tewksbury’s Chair [Christian] Pasanuk, or library staff like Tina Stewart and Robert Hayes take this money and create these events for everyone.”
