Tewksbury Lions & Rotary 5K Road Race May 29

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Tewksbury Lions and Rotary clubs will hold the 4th Annual 5K Fun Run road race at 8 a.m. on May 29, Memorial Day, at Tewksbury Country Club as a fundraiser support of the various charities the Lions Club and the Rotary Club support.

Some of the charities the Rotary and Lions support include:

• Rotary: Tewksbury Community Pantry, Liam Nation, Lowell YMCA, Lazarus House, American Diabetes Foundation, Zero Waste Day, High School Scholarships, 4th of July Activities
• Lions: Mass Lions Eye Research, Tewksbury Community Pantry, Into Action Recovery, American Diabetes Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis, Strongwater Farm, High School Scholarships

This is the Lions Club's major fundraisers each year. This year between Rotary and Lions, these organizations will be awarding almost $20,000.00 in Scholarships to deserving High School students in Tewksbury.

People are invited to support this cause by paying a $30 entrance fee to run/walk or just making a donation. Please go HERE to either register or make a donation.
