Tewksbury Police Seek Driver in High-Speed Chase

TEWKSBURY -- Police are probing a high-speed pursuit t in Tewksbury Saturday afternoon that ended when the conditions became unsafe, The Sun reports.

Police say an officer attempted to stop a speeding car on Main Street in the vicinity of the Motel 6 about 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The driver did not stop for police, drove through a red light and toward Lowell.

The officer broke off the chase when it became unsafe.
