Tewksbury Positive Coronavirus Test Rate Continues To Fall
Just 1.5 percent of the town's coronavirus tests came back positive over the last two weeks.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's positive coronavirus test rate continued to fall according to the latest town-by-town report released Thursday.
The town's positive test rate over the last two weeks was 1.5 percent, down from 1.6 percent last week. Tewksbury remains moderate risk, or yellow.
There were 55 cases in the last two weeks, down from 61 in last week's report. There have been 2,866 total cases in Tewksbury, according to the state data.

Massachusetts labeled just 14 communities as high risk for the coronavirus Thursday in the latest town-by-town report from the Department of Public Health.

The seven-day average positive test rate for the state fell slightly to 1.72 percent, the lowest level since October. Statewide case counts, hospitalizations and deaths also all fell.
Statewide, a total of 1,589 new cases and 42 deaths were reported Thursday.
