Tewksbury Power Outages: 10,000 Without

TEWKSBURY, MA — More than 10,000 Tewksbury households are without power Friday morning, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency. That accounted to 82 percent of customers. No time has been given for an estimated power restoration, as the majority of the Merrimack Valley has been hit particularly hard.

The state has more than 350,000 without power for the second time in a week. Communities across the state are once again crippled.

"Winter is getting old, we know," National Grid has posted on its site. "Many have lost power, and we know how frustrating that can be. Rest assured we have hundreds of crews on the ground in New England to help get you through this latest storm."
