Tewksbury Pride Event Rescheduled To October Due To Weather

After being rained out twice in a week, organizers decided to plan for a "more predictable weather month."

TEWKSBURY, MA — The planned Tewksbury pride event has been postponed until Oct. due to repeated rainouts, organizer Lorna Garey said.

The event was originally scheduled for June 30 and then July 7, but the weather did not comply for either day.

"Given the predicted thunderstorms this afternoon — again — we are taking the hint from Mother Nature and rescheduling the SHOW YOUR PRIDE, TEWKSBURY event for October, a more predictable weather month," Garey said. "As a bonus, we will be able to plan it in conjunction with the town's new DEI committee."
