Tewksbury School Applauds Service, Volunteerism and The Geography Bee Winner.

Annual Ginsburg Award given to Larry and Sandy Polimeno.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Tewksbury School Committee this week presented the annual Gins­burg Award,named for residents Marc and Leisa Ginsburg in rec­ognition of their 26 years of service and philanthropy to the Tewksbury Pub­lic Schools, to Larry and Sandy Poli­meno, according to the Tewksbury Town Crier.

Joy Beatrice, Laura Hul­me, and Mariellen Tsaou­siswere recognized as 2017’s Tewksbury Memo­rial High School Out­standing Volunteers.

Trahan Elementary School student Nathaniel Cason was also recognized for becoming the school’s Na­tional Geographic Bee cham­pion. The National Geo­graphic Bee is a geography competition for students in grades 4-8 sponsored by the National Geographic Society in which 10,000 schools na­tion-wide currently participate.
