Tewksbury School Applauds Service, Volunteerism and The Geography Bee Winner.
Annual Ginsburg Award given to Larry and Sandy Polimeno.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The Tewksbury School Committee this week presented the annual GinsÂburg Award,named for residents Marc and Leisa Ginsburg in recÂognition of their 26 years of service and philanthropy to the Tewksbury PubÂlic Schools, to Larry and Sandy PoliÂmeno, according to the Tewksbury Town Crier.
Joy Beatrice, Laura HulÂme, and Mariellen TsaouÂsiswere recognized as 2017’s Tewksbury MemoÂrial High School OutÂstanding Volunteers.
Trahan Elementary School student Nathaniel Cason was also recognized for becoming the school’s NaÂtional Geographic Bee chamÂpion. The National GeoÂgraphic Bee is a geography competition for students in grades 4-8 sponsored by the National Geographic Society in which 10,000 schools naÂtion-wide currently participate.
