Tewksbury Spring Cleanup Day is Saturday

TEWKSBURY, MA - Mark your calendars! Tewksbury's annual spring clean up day is Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to join the clean up efforts. Interested citizens, community groups, church and sports groups are encouraged to register via Sign Up Genius at goo.gl/vkWAW8 or by emailing clean.up.tewksbury@gmail.com.

Even one hour of help will make a difference. Walk ups are also welcomed.

Individual volunteers or team leads are asked to visit the Beautification Committee tent at the Town Common Saturday morning to receive bags, gloves, safety vests and cones for collecting trash during the event. Each team will receive a contact card to call or text for their trash and supplies to be picked up when they are finished.

Any amount of time is appreciated and clean up will continue throughout the five hour event.

This is an ideal opportunity to earn Community Service hours. Grab your Scout troop, sports team or some neighbors and put in an hour to help clean up the town.
