Tewksbury Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Acton Parking Lot
Denise Stracqualursi, 56 of Tewksbury, died Thursday after she was hit by a car in Acton Monday.
TEWKSBURY, MA — A Tewksbury woman died Thursday after being hit by a car in an Acton parking lot, officials said Friday.
Denise Stracqualursi, 56 of Tewksbury, was hit in the parking lot of an Acton grocery store Monday.
Police were sent to the parking lot around 1:09 p.m. Monday for a report of a pedestrian hit by a car. They found Stracqualursi lying along the travel lane in front of the store.

She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on Thursday.
Investigators believe Stracqualursi was walking with a shopping cart when a driver, a 76-year-old woman, turned left and hit her as she was crossing the travel lane to the parking area.

The driver remained on the scene.
The Middlesex District Attorney's Office and Acton police are investigating. No charges have been filed.
