Tewksbury's Pushcart Cafe to Reopen This Spring

Same popular menu, but with organic items to promote health and wellness.

TEWKSBURY — Two years after a kitchen fire close down the Pushcart Cafe in 2015, the 1777 Main Street restaurant will reopen this spring with its popular menu and more.

Co-owner Julann Briggs told the Town Crier "We are looking for­ward to having nutrition education on Sundays” along with some other ideas they are working on.

Briggs will run the shop with co-owner and husband Bob and cous­ins Tracy and Jamie Holden.

The restaurant has been a fixture in the community for 30 years until the Aug. 29, 2015 fire forced its closure.

Briggs wrote the book "123 I Take Good Care of Me," (available at Amazon.com) which fo­cuses on helping parents and children to make healthier choices.
