Tewksbury's Sam Mercurio Places 2nd In State Free Throw Event

Tewksbury's Sam Mercurio, who recently captured the District Championship in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shooting Contest, nearly pulled off a victory at the State Finals at Holy Cross College.

Sam made 19 of 25 free throws at the State Final, placing second to the eventual champion, who hit 23 of 25 shots.
