Town Meeting Approves Budget and Free Full-Day Kindergarten

TEWKSBURY, MA - Tewksbury residents will have free, full-day kindergarten this fall after Town Meeting members voted to approve the funding within the town's annual budget proposal Monday night.

Last year, plans to develop a free full day kindergarten program for Tewksbury students fell short after budget concerns put that plan on hold.

Monday night was the first full night of Town Meeting. Annual Town Meeting will reconvene to address zoning articles on the warrant on Wednesday night May 4 at 8 p.m.
