When is the First Day of School in Tewksbury?

Don’t look now, but summer is almost in the books and school is right around the corner.

Tewksbury students will be heading back to the classroom soon. But when exactly?

The answer to that question can be found on the Tewksbury Public Schools website.

According to the district’s calendar, school gets back in session on Wednesday, Aug. 27, the first day of classes in town at all schools.

Students won’t have to go to school for too long right away, however, as there is no school on Friday, Aug. 29, or Monday, Sept. 1, for Labor Day weekend.
