William P. Cuskey, 79, Tewksbury School Department Retiree

TEWKSBURY - William P. Cuskey Jr., age 79, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, at Lowell General Hospital, after a courageous and lengthy battle with declining health. He rejoins his beloved wife Lorraine M. (Gionnone)(Johnson) Cuskey, who preceded him in Eternal Life on December 3, 2009.

Bill was born in Tewksbury in July, 1937, a son of the late William P. and Alice M. (Stearns) Cuskey, and was a lifelong resident of Tewksbury. Bill was a faithful parishioner of St. William’s Church in Tewksbury.

He worked his entire career, and retired from Custodial Services for the Town of Tewksbury’s School Department. He leaves his daughter, Sandra Martino and her husband Dennis of Townsend; a son-in-law, Robert of Newport News, VA the husband of his daughter Suzanne Olson who died this past September 29; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; a brother Peter Cuskey of Colorado; nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by a sister Marion and brother John.

Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday morning, December 28, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury Center, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury.
