Christine O'Kane Passes Away

Christine M. O'Kane of Wakefield passed away on Monday, Sept. 3, at Winchester Hospital. She was 74 years of age.

Born on December 6, 1943 in Brighton, Christine is the beloved daughter of the late George M. O'Kane and Henrietta (Collins) O'Kane. Christine is a warm and caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Christine loved spending time at the Stone Zoo and the Society at Saint James in Boston. She was an Executive Assistant at Winchester Hospital for three Presidents. Always very charitable and giving to many charities, Christine also volunteered at the Stone Zoo.

Christine is the cherished sister of Carol M. O'Kane, Joan Caruso and her husband Carl, Jack O'Kane and his wife Carol, Barbara Waitkevich and her husband Ed and the late George O'Kane and Marjorie LeBlanc. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham, Saturday, Sept. 8th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Christine's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Friday, Sept. 7th from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover.
