Family-Friendly Tiny Tim's Christmas Carol Coming To Stoneham

Greater Boston Stage Company performances run Dec. 8-23.

A release from the Greater Boston Stage Company:

Greater Boston Stage Company proudly announces Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol, a joyful, family-friendly spin on a holiday classic. Tiny Tim is determined to have his father home for Christmas day even if it means teaching Ebenezer Scrooge a lesson in Christmas cheer. Adapted from the classic Charles Dickens' novel by Tony Award winner Ken Ludwig ('Twas the Night Before Christmas) and his son Jack, this heartwarming hour-long Christmas tale is full of family fun for all ages. Directed by Sarah Elizabeth Bedard, performances run December 8-23.

Says Bedard, “A Christmas Carol has always been one of my favorite holiday stories. It teaches us the power of kindness and reminds us of our potential to change. In Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol, I love the fact that children drive this story. Children teach us to be open to what life has to offer. They teach us to have wide eyes of wonderment and hearts filled with joy and laughter. They remind us to live in the moment and share our happiness—and our snacks—with others.”
