Flu Clinics Start This Week In Melrose and Wakefield

The Wakefield and Melrose Health Departments are sponsoring flu clinics for adults aged 19 years and older. Residents of all communities are welcome. Please be sure to bring your insurance card(s) with you and wear short sleeves. Questions? Call the flu hotline at (781) 979-4127.

The vaccine is free with most insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mass, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, Health New England, Fallon, Allways Health Partners, Tufts, Unicare, MassHealth, and Medicare Part B.

There will be a $10 fee for regular flu vaccine not covered by a participating insurance carrier. The $10 fee for vaccine does not apply to high-dose vaccine (over 65 years). We are only accepting participating insurances for high-dose (over 65 years).
