Girl Recognized For Support Of Grandmother's Cancer Battle
Chelsie Attardi, 10, received Macy's gift card and more after being nominated by her grandmother.
A 10 year old Wakefield girl was among those nominated by loved ones this year to receive a holiday wish package from Foxwoods Casino.
The casino reported that Chelsie Attardi was nominated to receive a $500 Macy’s Gift Card, a new coat and a manucre/pedicure by her grandmother, Marie Banks. Marie has been battling breast cancer and she credited for granddaughter for standing by her side the entire time. The two were at Foxwoods on Monday for a wish fulfillment ceremony with 10 other guests.
“So strong and never complaining… I don’t know what I would’ve done without her by my side. She is my sunshine of life,” Banks was quoted as saying in the Foxwoods announcement.
