Gun Tossed In Wakefield Was Fake: Police
Officers investigating a report of a discarded gun determined the weapon was not real.
WAKEFIELD, MA — Officers investigating a report of a discarded gun in Wakefield Thursday determined the weapon was not real, police said. The gun was reported at Farm Street and Nahant Street around 8 a.m.
It was determined to be a damaged airsoft pistol, according to police. There were no pellets inside.
Police removed the item from the area.
