How Much Snow Did Wakefield Get?

Much of Massachusetts was met with a few inches of snow Wednesday morning as temperatures dipped overnight.

WAKEFIELD, MA — Temperatures dropped in Massachusetts Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, turning the wet start to the week into a snowy midweek commute. It wasn't enough to warrant canceling school in many communities, including Wakefield, but much of the state saw about 3-4 inches of snow.

According to the National Weather Service, Wakefield got 3.2 inches of snow. It was toward the low end of the spectrum in Middlesex County, with Framingham seeing 4.5 inches.

The highest totals in the state came farther west in Hampden County, with Brimfield getting 6 inches.
