Lewis Speaks In Support Of Insurance Coverage For Rare Illness

Senator Jason Lewis and Representative Paul Brodeur testified before the Joint Committee on Financial Services in support of legislation they filed to ensure health insurance coverage for treatment of PANS and PANDAS, complex and debilitating childhood neurological illnesses whose treatment is often not covered by insurers.

Lewis and Brodeur were joined at the hearing by Melrose resident Sheilah Gauch and her family, who helped inspire and advocate for this legislation.
