Merchant permits allow vehicles to park in designated merchant spaces throughout the downtown and Greenwood area. Resident permits waive time restrictions for those who live on the streets indicated below. Permits do not exempt the holder from any other parking violations. Residents will be required to show proof that they are residents of that street by uploading a copy of their registration and driver's license. Registrations must show that the vehicle is garaged in Wakefield. To make changes to your garaged address, please visit the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you are a resident that has more than one vehicle, you will need to create separate account for each vehicle. If you are a merchant applicant, you will need to fill in your business information in the "Contact Information" section.
