Mystic Valley Softball Team Wins 8th Game

The Mystic Valley Girls Softball team won their 8th game in the last nine games.

With a shut-out victory, the Mystic Valley Girls Softball team won over the visiting Panthers from PMA on Tuesday night. The win was the 8th win out of 9 this season. 

"The game demonstrated the effective formula that the girls have used to win all season; Effective pitching, solid defense and timely hitting," said a press release from the Mystic Valley Regional Charter School.

The four senior members of the team anchored the infieild defense; Rachel Tortora at third, Michelle Doherty at shortstop, Violet Sullivan at second and Jordan Sullivan at first.

“These four have been a integral part of the Lady Eagles run to the playoffs and have been part of teams that have made the playoffs their entire high school career. They have established an expectation of what it means to play for the Mystic Valley Girls Softball team and as coaches, we could not be prouder of their accomplishments.” Said coach Scot Barry.
