Scams, drugs and report of a creep taking photos of young girls this week in Wakefield.
On Monday, June 13, police reported a larceny in which there were several attempts to “flim/flam” a Main Street clerk.
A Wakefield citizen reported that they got phone call from an unknown caller. The caller, with an Indian accent, reported that the citizen will be sued by the IRS. The caller recognized this as a scam and did not suffer a loss.
Another citizen received the same scam. The caller also recognized this as a scam and did not suffer a loss.

A caller reported a male party on a white moped operating erratically on Main and Water streets. A summons was issued to a 21-year-old Saugus man and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to yield at a stop sign.
An Audobon Road hotel reported two escorts operating out of one of their rooms. Parties were removed from the property without incident.

A North Reading man was arrested in Wakefield on drug charges after parking on the side of the road facing the wrong way on Wednesday, June 15.
Eric Joseph Von-Kriegenbergh, 31, of 6 Woodland Drive, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs and possession of a class A substance.
A caller initially reported a red sedan travelling on the wrong side of the road, police said. His vehicle was towed.
On Wednesday, June 15, on Audobon Road a caller reported a possible overdose inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. A 35-year-old man was charged with possession of a class E drug and possession of an ounce of marijuana or less.
On Friday, June 17, a Whittier Road resident reported her house had been advertised on Craigslist for rent. Reporting party notified Craiglist, who has removed the add, police said. There is no way of determining who posted the add, police said.
On Friday, June 17, a caller reported he received a phone call from his daughter who was at the Lower Common. The reporting party said his daughter believes a man at same location was taking pictures of her making her feel uncomfortable, police said. The reporting party said his daughter left the common while he was on the phone with her and thought the man would follow her in his vehicle, police said. The man was spoken to and claims to have been at the lake to go jogging, police said. He denied any inappropriate behavior, police said.
On Friday, June 17, a 28-year-old Wakefield woman was arrested after a three car accident. Felicia M. DiPietrantonio, 28, of 10A Avon St., was arrested on outstanding warrant charges.
On Friday, June 17, on West Water St. a caller reported her apartment had been broken into.
On Saturday, June 18, a caller reported a man waving an American flag yelling at vehicles as they drive by. The man was described as a white male in his 50's, maroon t-shirt and gray shorts. Officers were unable to locate the flag-waving man.
