PAWS to Host Virtual Run and Costume Contest
Go the (social) distance in support of local animals in need.

PAWS is announcing a special approach to their annual 5K Run/Walk with current times in mind. The event will be held virtually between Saturday, October 24 and Saturday, October 31. Participants can complete the race at their own pace and in the place of their choice. Prizes will be awarded at a virtual awards ceremony on November 7.
All are also invited to participate in our new Halloween Costume Contest to give kids, adults, and pets alike a fun way to compete for prizes while supporting local animals. Entries may be submitted between October 10 and October 31.
Event proceeds will provide much needed funds that will directly help local homeless animals who will one day bring joy and love to their forever families. The organization is also offering support to those struggling because of the pandemic through the PAWS Pet Food Pantry, open every Tuesday from 1 to 5 pm at 411 Lowell Street, Wakefield.
