This project includes the reconstruction of sidewalks along both sides of Albion Street between Foster Street and North Avenue, new ADA-complaint curb ramps, the installation of sidewalk bump-outs at crosswalk locations to improve pedestrian crossing safety, landscaped areas, and electrical infrastructure improvements. The work is generally located between Main Street and North Avenue. The majority of proposed immediate work will be located within the roadway, however, some construction will require the closure of portions of the sidewalk and detours around the work area.
After the drainage work is completed, the contractor will begin electrical infrastructure upgrades. The final phase of the project will include sidewalk reconstruction and landscaped areas and is expected to take place in Spring 2021.
