Before his movie career took off, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was known for brutalizing opponents in the ring with his patented “People’s Elbow” drop and the dreaded “Rock Bottom” finishing slam.

As it turns out, it seems he leaves his ruthless aggression in the ring, and conducts himself in a far more civil manner in the real world.

WCVB Channel 5 reports that The Rock was driving his truck to a movie shoot in Massachusetts when he accidentally sideswiped a parked pickup truck. In the process, he annihilated its side-view mirror, much like he annihilated “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 18.

The damaged truck belonged to Audie Bridges of Wakefield.

The Rock waited for Bridges to return to his vehicle, and asked ”Sir, is this your truck?”

According to The Rock’s Instagram account, the following conversation took place:

“Well, sorry to tell you I sideswiped [the truck] and knocked the hell out of your mirror,” said The Rock. “You give me your info, and I’ll leave you mine, and I’ll take care of everything.”

Bridges proceeded to tilt his head in a quizzical manner, and asked, “Are you The Rock?” To which The Rock confirmed that, yes, indeed he is.

Channel 5 reports that Bridges refused to accept any money from The Rock, fixed the mirror himself, and was mostly happy to have a cool story to tell.
