Several Unlicensed Drivers Summonsed, Plus One OUI Arrest

Information provided by the Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, September 12, 2013. 

At 8 a.m. a caller on Mountain Ave. reported that somebody had entered his vehicle and tampered with the ignition.
At 8:35 a.m. an officer brought the K-9 unit to do a search at Westford Academy.
At 8:57 a.m. a two-car accident was reported near Exit 41. State Police responded with the Fire Department and Action Ambulance.
At 11:20 a.m. police issued a summons to a 45 year old Wakefield woman charging her with operating with a suspended license, subsequent, and operating at a speed greater than reasonable and proper.
At 11:48 a.m. some vehicles were tagged for illegally parking in a fire lane.
At 4:24 p.m. police issued a summons to a 49 year old Wakefield man charging him with: operating with a revoked/suspended license, a revoked/suspended registration, no inspection sticker, and license not in possession.
At 4:37 p.m. police issued a summons to a 35 year old Wakefield man charging him with operating with a suspended/revoked license.
At 8 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious black truck parked on Spauling Street for a long time. It was gone on arrival.
At 9:01 p.m. police took a report of an erratic operator near Main Street and North Ave. and arrested Kevin F. Brizee, 36, 410 Salem Street, Wakefield, and charged him with OUI Liquor 2nd offense and operating at a speed greater than reasonable and proper.
