A release from the Albion Cultural Exchange:

WAKEFIELD, Ma. –Want to fully enjoy spring? Come to Albion Street and hear amazing local artists sing! An annual Spring tradition returns, the Albion Cultural Exchange (ACE) is proud to host "Spring A Cappella," a free and fun concert featuring our town’s own all-vocal powerhouses, In Big Treble, She Major, and Voices of Steel.

The show will take place on Thursday, May 2, at the ACE Center located at 9 Albion Street, and doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with the performance scheduled for 5-6:30 p.m. All three groups will perform a selection of pop tunes, in a style that channels the energy and innovation of a musical genre that recaptured the country's imagination with the Pitch Perfect movies.

"On May 2nd, people across Wakefield may hear some curious sounds coming from downtown: Singing, cheering, clapping, and even beatboxing!” said Christopher J. Carino, Chairperson of the Albion Cultural Exchange Committee. “This is a public service announcement to let you all know that ACE is bringing back our high-energy a cappella concert series, just in time for spring. It’s free, it’s fun, and you might just find yourself getting up from your seat to dance. Come on down!”
