Employee Stabbed Coworker At Wakefield Business: Police
An employee of Produce Connections is accused of stabbing his coworker Tuesday.
WAKEFIELD, MA — A Chelsea man was arrested after a stabbing at a Wakefield business Tuesday morning. Elvin Guiterrez, 34, an employee at Produce Connections, cut his coworker with a knife and fled down Audubon Road, police said.
The stabbing happened shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to police. The other employee sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers searched the swampy area off of Audubon Road and arrested Guiterrez. State Police K9 and air units assisted with the search.

Guiterrez was charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He will be arraigned in Malden District Court Tuesday afternoon.
