Stoneham's Kathleen Howe Passes Away

She was a loyal and dedicated teacher for the Town of Wakefield.

Kathleen Mary (Donahoe) Howe of Stoneham passed away on Easter Sunday, April 21, at her home. She was 62 years of age.

Born on August 15, 1956 in Winchester, Kathy is the loving daughter of the late Charles Donahoe and Mary (O'Brien) Donahoe. Kathy is a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Kathy was a loyal and dedicated teacher for the Town of Wakefield. She was the proud co-owner of Certainly Wood in Reading with her husband Michael for 25 years. Kathy was also a talented cake decorator for 25 years at Hank's Bakery in Stoneham.

Kathy is the beloved wife of Michael Howe. She is the devoted mother of Kevin Howe and his wife Jenny, Suzanne Golden and her husband Andrew and Timothy Howe and his significant other Astrid March. The cherished grandmother of Callie and AJ Golden, Kathy is the dear sister of Stephen Donahoe and his wife Paula, Larry Donahoe, Eileen Sarcone and her husband Joe and Carol Fitzpatrick and her husband James. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham, Friday, April 26th at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Kathy's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 a.m. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Kathy's Family on Thursday, April 25th from 4-8 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
