Suspicious Man and a Suspicious Truck Among Tuesday Reports

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, November 18, 2013.
At 9:14 a.m. police and animal control were notified of a dead cat on a sidewalk on Water Street.
At 10:38 a.m. a caller reported a vehicle with a smashed windshield parked in front of the library on Main Street. Further investigation found the damage to have been there from before.
At 11:36 a.m. a caller reported that an older male in a van had approached her daughter and baby sitter at a local park and stared at the baby sitter.
At 3:54 p.m. police were informed that a man on Pleasant Street had urinated in the area, exposing himself in the process.
At 8:01 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious blue pickup truck with a beige bottom mounting on Salem Street where an individual had been possibly using a video recorder.
At 8:03 p.m. police took a report of a possible telephone scam.Â
