Town Of Wakefield: Cooling Centers Available Monday And Tuesday

If you need a break from the heat, feel free to stop in the Senior Center or Public Safety Building. Both have been designated as cooling centers on Monday, June 7 and Tuesday, June 8. The McCarthy Senior Center is located at the former Warren School at 30 Converse Street. It will be open until 7 p.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The Public Safety Building is located at 1 Union Street; the lobby and community room are available until 9 p.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
