Trash Pickup Delayed In Town Of Wakefield

Due to the upcoming storm, Monday's trash and recycling routes will be completed, but Tuesday’s pickup will be delayed until Wednesday. The rest of the week will also be pushed back a day.

Town Hall will be closed, but staff will be available via phone and email.

As a reminder, a parking ban has been issued from 5 p.m. on Monday, February 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2. All parked cars must be removed from the roadways to allow plowing crews and public safety vehicles to safely access the roads and perform curb-to-curb cleanup. If your residence does not have a driveway, you are encouraged to connect with your landlord for parking options or coordinate with a neighbor who has extra driveway space.
