Wakefield Boys Get Rematch In First Round Of Tournament

They knew they were tournament bound, but Friday afternoon the MIAA made it official with the announcement of the 2019 basketball tournament pairings.

The Wakefield boys' earned the No. 4 seed in Division 2 North and earned a home rematch Tuesday with Middlesex rival and No. 13 seed Reading. The Warriors finished 14-6 but one of those losses was a 61-55 loss to Reading in December.

If the Warriors avoid the upset, Wakefield will face the winner of the Gloucester vs. Danvers game in the quarterfinals.
