Wakefield Earns No. 8 Seed In MIAA Baseball Tournament
Warriors one of 5 Middlesex schools in the Division 2 North field.
WAKEFIELD, MA. - Wakefield earned the No. 8 seed in the Division 2 North baseball tournament. The MIAA released the baseball pairings Tuesday.
The Warriors (12-8) will host Greater Lawrence (12-8) at Walsh Field on Friday in a first round game. The winner earns a date with top-seeded Whittier in the quarterfinals. Wakefield is one of five Middlesex schools in the 14-team field.
