Wakefield Snowstorm: Trash Pickup Delayed, Parking Ban Declared
Here's what to know about the snowstorm in Wakefield.
WAKEFIELD, MA — Wakefield has issued a parking ban from 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2. Forecasts call for 8-12 inches of snow to fall in the Wakefield area.
Parked cars must be removed from the roads to allow plowing crews and public safety vehicles to access the roads and perform curb-to-curb cleanup.
Residents who do not have a driveway should connect with their landlords for parking options or coordinate with a neighbor who has extra driveway space.

All school buildings are closed Tuesday. Students will follow a remote learning schedule.
Tuesday's trash pickup will be delayed until Wednesday. The rest of the week will also be pushed back a day.
