Wakefield Home To The Stars: Affleck Shoots Clooney Flick In Town
People gathered to catch a glimpse of the stars outside the Wakefield Bowladrome.
WAKEFIELD, MA — Or should we say, HOLLYWOOD, CA?
OK, not exactly, but Wakefielders were treated to a peek at some movie stars Monday. "The Tender Bar," a movie directed by George Clooney and starring Ben Affleck, was filming in the Wakefield Bowladrome.
Clooney has been bringing filming all across eastern Massachusetts, from Beverly to Watertown.

"The Tender Bar" is billed as a coming-of-age adaption of a memoir by Pulitzer Prize winner J.R. Moehringer.
The film also features "American Horror Story" star Lily Rabe and "X-Men" actor Tye Sheridan.
