On Saturday August 20, downtown Wakefield will become Wakefield's own personal Little Italy.
WAKEFIELD, MA - On Saturday August 20, downtown Wakefield (a portion of Main St. and Albion St.) will become Wakefield’s own personal Little Italy.
The Event Planning Committee, organizer of the event, promises the vibe of an authentic Italian neighborhood street festival without leaving Wakefield. Italian food, street vendors, music, entertainment, Spin the Wheel, beer garden, La Piazza, shopping, and a host of children’s activities will highlight the event, a release said. This is a family-filled, fun and free event, a release said.
