Wakefield Native Priscilla Lynn Passes Away

Also longtime Reading resident, she was a fan of Red Sox, Bruins and NASCAR.

Priscilla J. (Davis) Lynn of Peabody, formerly of Reading, died March 10 at the Brooksby Village in Peabody. She was 92.

Priscilla was born in Wakefield on December 10, 1924 the daughter of the late John E. and Marie (Messier) Davis. A longtime resident of Reading, she loved her community and her church, Old South United Methodist Church. An avid knitter, she made several afghans for members of her church and later when she moved to Brooksby Village for her friends. She was an avid sports fan and followed the Boston Red Sox, Bruins and NASCAR. She also loved playing Bingo.

Priscilla was the beloved wife of the late Philip A. Lynn. Devoted mother of Sandra L. Burnham and her longtime companion Robert Wagner of Methuen; Robert A. Beaudoin of Daytona Beach, FL; and Deborah A. Flynn of Hudson. Cherished sister of the late F. Stan Davis and loving grandmother of Brenda L. Barrelle, Jennifer L. Burnham, and Ryan L. Flynn. Loving great grandmother of Emma and Gracie.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13 at the Douglass, Edgerly and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading at noon. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 10-12. Burial will be in Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
