Wakefield Permits $2.72 Million in Home or Commercial Projects in July

The Wakefield Building Inspector recently released the July report.

The Wakefield Building Inspector's June report was recently released and shows that the town permitted roughly $2.72 million in home construction and renovations last month. 

For that total amount of work, the town collected $78,141 in building permit fees. 

Projects in June consisted of three home construction projects, three pool constructions and roughly 280 inspections, either plumbing, electrical or building. 

The building department issued a total of roughly 200 permits for plumbing, electrical or building.  

Some home projects included a $330,000 home construction project, a $3,500 bathroom remodeling project, and a $2,500 project to take down a non-bearing wall and partial ceiling.
