Wakefield Permits $2.74 Million in Home or Commercial Projects in June

The Wakefield Building Inspector recently released the June report.

The Wakefield Building Inspector's June report was recently released and shows that the town permitted roughly $2.74 million in home construction and renovations last month. 

For that total amount of work, the town collected $29,842 in building permit fees. 

Projects in June consisted of 1 home construction, 1 commercial building construction, three pool constructions, roughly 260 inspections, either plumbing, electrical or building. 

The building department issued a total of 178 permits for plumbing, electrical or building.  

Some home projects included a $37,000 window replacement and insulation project, a $7,000 solar hot water collector installation, and the $321,000 construction of a single-family home.
