Wakefield School Committee Election 2021: Meet The Candidates

With two contested races and two uncontested races, four Wakefield School Committee seats are on the ballot.

WAKEFIELD, MA — Residents will head to the polls April 27 — or mail in ballots beforehand — to decide a number of races in the Town Election.

The School Committee races consist of six candidates for four seats, but it's not a free-for-all.

Dawn Millward and Kevin Piscadlo are vying to complete a two-year seat, while Gregory Liakos and Ami Wall are jostling for a one-year seat.

The deadline for registering to vote has already passed. In-person early voting is not an option this election, but applications for mail-in voting can be mailed to the Town Clerk's office, emailed to bsheeran@wakefield.ma.us or faxed to 781-246-4155. Applications are also available at the Town Clerk's office.
