Wakefield's Memorial Day Schedule

Residents are invited to Galvin Middle School Monday for the annual Memorial Day Ceremony.

Jay Pinette, chairman of the Wakefield Veterans Advisory Board (VAB), will welcome attendees at the 2019 ceremony, scheduled for 1 p.m.. The event will feature a keynote address by Keith Jones, United States Coast Guard Veteran.

The event is also scheduled to include appearances by Wakefield Boy Scouts Troop 701, Wakefield Girl Scouts, the Wakefield High School music department, the American Legion Post 63, Rev. Bruce Taylor, and Wakefield’s Town Council and legislators. A collation to follow in the Galvin Middle School cafeteria.
