What Couldn’t You Live Without While Being Safer at Home?
Wakefield Lodge Wonders What Is Most Important
For this month’s meeting, the Wakefield Sons & Daughters of Italy put together several fun raffle baskets. Donors were tasked with contributing an item that they could not live without over the past 9 months. Items had to be $10 or less, so no car keys or expensive bottles of wine. But there were puzzle books, chocolates, cookies, Panettone, jam, gift cards for coffee and groceries, masks, note cards and stamps, coffee, tea, disinfectant spray, and a lot of hand sanitizer.
The group has held cooking competitions among members in the past, but decided that for the January 12 remote meeting, Laurie Rizzo of Laurie's 909 would conduct a cooking demo. Members and the community can follow along at home as Laurie teaches how to make her famous Eggplant Rollatini. Delizioso!
If you would like to attend the January meeting via Zoom, please contact Paula Sasso for details. Start time will be 7:00 p.m.
