WAKEFIELD, MA — Wednesday is Christmas and municipal buildings will be closed all day. Trash will be picked up on Monday and Tuesday. For the remainder of the week, there will be a one-day delay (Wednesday on Thursday, Thursday on Friday and Friday on Saturday).

    • Christmas Eve: Most stores open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Christmas Day: Most stores open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (excludes stores inside Target).

Supermarkets:

  • Stop & Shop
    • Christmas Eve: All stores close at 6 p.m.
    • Christmas Day: Closed
  • Trader Joe's
    • Christmas Eve: All stores close at 6 p.m.
    • Christmas Day: Closed
  • Whole Foods
    • Christmas Eve: All stores will have limited hours. Hours vary by location.
    • Christmas Day: Closed.
