Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood: 'Communication Techniques'

Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Assisted Living at Westwood is hosting the educational session, “Communication Techniques” on Thursday, Sept. 3 at noon. Communicating with an elderly person can be difficult, especially when they are suffering from memory loss. During this presentation, Alicia Seaver, director of memory care at Bridges by EPOCH, will provide helpful communication and listening techniques, including which phrases to say (and not to say), as well as tips on how to promote meaningful conversations with those with memory loss. A light lunch will be served.
