Massachusetts Spitfires Tryouts Announced

The Massachusetts Spitfires, a girls hockey program in Southeastern Massachusetts, have announced tryouts for the upcoming 2013-2014 season.

The Spitfires field teams from Learn to Play through U19 levels.

The program currently has players from all over Massachusetts including participants from Franklin, Bellingham, Foxborough, Sharon, Mansfield, Canton, Medway, Millis, Norfolk, Plainville, Walpole, North Attleboro, Attleboro, Taunton, Bridgewater, Easton and Wrentham.

The program has sent more than ten teams to Nationals at various age levels since its inception in 2003.

Tryouts are at Iorio Arena, 2130 Providence Highway, Walpole, Mass. and take place on the following dates:

• Little Spitfires – Learn to Play: Born 2003 and Later - No tryouts. Registration only.
• U8, U10, U12 - March 12, 14, 15
• U14 - March 26, 28 and if necessary, April 9
• Mass Festival Preparation Skates, April 9, 11
• U16 - April 21, 28
• U19 - April 21, 28
