New Pond Village Celebrates Mardi Gras the Big Easy Way

It may be a long way from New Orleans, but a Mardi Gras celebration at a Walpole retirement community gives many a good taste of The Big Easy. On Fat Tuesday, residents and team members of New Pond Village retirement community celebrated the day filled with food, masks, and plenty of purple green and gold! Music, games, creole inspired appetizers, king cakes & the traditional hurricane drinks were served. Residents competed in a hula hoop contest and of course fought for the title of best costume.
