P&G Brings New Copa America Centenario Trophy to Boston

The Be That Fan Trophy Tour will stop at a local Walmart.

Who:             As Boston gears up to host the upcoming Copa America Centenario quarterfinal match on June 18 at Gillette Stadium, P&G is bringing the Be That Fan Trophy Tour to local soccer fans. P&G is one of the tournament sponsors. 

What:           The centerpiece of the Be That Fan tour is the gold commemorative trophy designed exclusively for the 100-year anniversary of the Copa America Centenario. Thanks to brands including Head & Shoulders, Old Spice, Gillette and Crest, fans can admire and pose with the trophy while enjoying the Be That Fan experience under AstroTurf lined, soccer-themed tents that feature soccer player stand-ins and foosball. The events are free and open to the public.

Why:            For the first time in tournament history Copa America Centenario is being played in the United States. The Be That Fan Trophy Tour is a way for shoppers and soccer fans to celebrate the most-anticipated international soccer event of the year. Whether posing for a picture with the gold centennial trophy or participating in the Be That Fan experience, P&G wants as many community members as possible to have the chance to be a part of the excitement.
